Tiny Tulsa-Mini Museum & Market
Are you a lover of all things miniature? Do you enjoy supporting local creative businesses? Stop by the Tiny Tulsa Mini Museum & Market for a unique experience in both. Open in the Flyloft during April's First Friday from 6pm-9pm and Saturday the 6th from 11am - 5pm.
Tulsa's own Tiny Things by Bowen has created an out-of-the-box Mini Museum out of...a box! Fifty Oklahoma artists' tiny works will be featured within this one-of-a-kind gallery display for you to experience and perhaps even purchase from. While you await your turn inside the Museum you are invited to check out the array of booths set up by those featured in the museum. Check back in March for a list of vendors!
An additional gallery wall from the students of Edison High School's art programs will be on display and up for a community vote! Students will be awarded cash prizes for first-third place, so be sure to vote! Voting will end and winners will be announced at 4pm on Saturday.
Of course gallery opening would be complete without some snacks, and ours will fittingly be tiny! Sweet treats compliments of Evanly Bakes and From Lolly will be available. This event is brought to you by Tiny Things by Bowen and the Guthrie Green! It is family friendly and supports Tulsa's creative community.

Polymer Pet Portrait Class (Round 2)
March’s Tiny Things class will be geared to help you recreate your pet in miniature! On Wednesday, March 13th from 6:30-8:30 join Sarah at Heirloom to recreate your furry friend! This can be a dog or cat, and you can turn the finished product into a magnet, keychain, ornament, pin, or just a shelf-sitter. We’ll be focusing on the pets’ faces and Sarah will walk you through the basics of finding the shapes within their features and how to mold those shapes nicely. Depending on how quickly you work, you are welcome to create more than one. Feel free to bring a printed photo of your pet or we can work off of your phone. This will be a slightly smaller class than usual to allow for more one-on-one instruction time to help you succeed in making your fur baby’s cute snoots!

Workshop at Renaissance
Join Tiny Things' Sarah Bowen to make your own miniature polymer clay creations at Renaissance! Polymer clay is an oven-bake medium that's great for all levels of creativity and artistic experience! ANYONE can make something- in fact, some of Sarah's favorite crafters are often those who say "I'm not creative"...she'll get it out of you!
Drop by to create your own Tiny object! The cost is $15 for your first creation and $10 for any additional- you'll get two pick two main colors of clay and whatever itty bitty bits you need to complete your idea. Sarah will be there to help guide you- offering suggestions, tools, and support. Miniatures bake for 15 minutes once you are finished, or can be taken home with instructions to bake it yourself.
Turn your Tinies into functional works of art by choosing to make a magnet, keychain, ornament, piece of jewelry, or a little figurine. Examples will be provided to get the imagination going, but often a simple Pintrest search of polymer clay will give you ideas!!
